Michael J. Schuchmann passed away on March 8, 2026, in Tacoma, Washington, at the age of 55.
Mike was born on December 18, 1970, in Tacoma, Washington, to Annette Schuchmann Bishop and Jerry Schuchmann Sr. He was raised in the Manitou Park neighborhood and attended Manitou Park Elementary, Gray Middle School, Mt. Tahoma High School, and Yelm High School.

Mike is survived by his longtime partner of ten years, Shelly Erickson; his brothers, Steven and Scott; his stepbrother, Dave; and eight cousins.

He will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who loved his family deeply, especially his mother and brothers. While his passing leaves a profound sadness, his loved ones take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his father, Jerry Schuchmann Sr., who passed away when Mike was seven years old, and his brother, Jerry, who passed in July 2025.
