At Oakwood Hill Funeral Chapel & Cemetery, you’ll find a wide selection of burial options that can be personalized to the life celebrated. Generally, a burial or entombment is preceded by a traditional funeral service, which includes a family or public viewing and visitation period for the deceased. Once the viewing and visitation has concluded, a funeral service is held in a place of worship or in our funeral chapel. This service is followed by the underground or above ground burial of the casket.
Additional options for burial include a service held only at the cemetery or memorial park, known to and referred as a graveside service. A graveside service can be preceded by a family or public viewing period for the deceased at the funeral chapel. An immediate burial, where the casket is brought to the cemetery for an unwitnessed underground or above ground burial of the casket.
